Double-degree education
The dual degree programs implemented by the faculty of law of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University provide students and undergraduates with a unique opportunity to study at two leading universities at once - ENU and one of our international partners. Participation in such programs allows students not only to study the national legal systems of different countries more deeply, but also to gain international experience, which significantly increases their competitiveness in the global labor market.
The dual degree programs of the faculty of law are aimed at:
- In-depth study of international and comparative law.
- The development of professional competencies necessary to work in the context of the globalization of law.
- Providing students with study and practice experience abroad, which contributes to their professional and personal growth.
- Increasing academic mobility and international knowledge exchange between students, undergraduates and teachers.

Students taking part in dual degree programs receive a number of important benefits:
- International diploma: upon completion of the program, students receive diplomas from two universities — ENU and the partner university.
- Global experience: Participation in the program opens up the possibility of studying at a foreign university, which helps students better understand international legal systems and improve their intercultural communication skills.
- Career prospects: graduates of dual degree programs have advantages in finding employment both in Kazakhstan and abroad, as the programs form specialists with international knowledge and experience.
- Network of professional contacts: The program provides an opportunity to communicate and collaborate with international students, teachers and experts, which contributes to the development of a global network of professional contacts.
The ENU faculty of law successfully cooperates with a number of leading universities within the framework of dual degree programs. To date, cooperation agreements and a dual degree program have been signed with:
- Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN), Russian Federation;
- Kazan Federal University, Russian Federation;
- Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Republic of Tajikistan;
- Tyumen State University, Russian Federation.
In addition, negotiations are currently underway to launch a joint dual degree program with the National Research University “Higher School of Economics” and Tashkent State Law University. We expect these programs to become an important part of our faculty's educational initiatives and open up new opportunities for students.
